I know we’ve been stuck in the house since like forever, but you can never not need a good lash. Especially for those days when it feels like you’ve been a bum for weeks, and you just wanna activate that 3% of the time where you look like a Snizzack.

Over the past year, I’ve really gotten into lashes, and I started off like many girls in the makeup aisles of Walmart, Walgreens, and my local beauty supply, grabbing drug store lashes of all shapes, lengths, and wispiness. 

My favorite drug store lashes– a very nice alternative for those who don’t wear them as often– are Kiss Lashes, because you get a decent lash and lots of variety of style for a cheap price.

As a new lash connossieur, getting into mink lashes and 25mm lashes, I was looking for something better, with a bit more flavor and that looked a lot more natural, so when my prophyte Tatiana reached out to me to be a brand ambassador for her new lash line FinerLash, I couldn’t say no!

PASSION FRUIT:

Since I put this lash on my face, I feel like my life just got better. I don’t know what type of witchcraft was done on these lashes, what was manifested over them, but there’s something there that just takes your life to the next level. 

I did not know I needed these until I bought them and looked at myself with these lashes on. I’ve bought 2 pair to alternate with. I thought I ruined one pair on a very uneventful night where they were unfortunately knocked off of my face by one of my beautiful sisters, but I revived those and now I have 2, so double the chakra alignment.

Passion Fruit gives me ‘these could be my lashes cause they look so natural, but they aren’t because how could one person just have the right length, wispiness and fluff to their natural lashes’.

So if you’re looking to elevate your life, buy Passion Fruit.

PITAYA aka “DragonFruit”:

Kk, so I’m not gonna lie, in the beginning, I low key did not like this lash. I just felt like it was too thick for my eye shape and size. They were very cute, but just too much for what I normally go for. Over time, and after a couple wears, I realized that one, I needed to cut them, and two, they just needed a lil more wispiness to them and a different outfit.

When I first wore these, I was going to a NABA kick off meeting– my first with a speaking role since I was just elected External VP– and these were just too much for the occasion. 

But if you shape them to your eye, and use a spoolie– an eyebrow brush– to brush them out a little more and actually find something more dramatic to wear this with, then they’ll fit the look a lot more, and not make me feel like I have a caterpillar on my eye!

Pitaya has more of a “im going clubbing” or “my outfit said edgy so my lashes need to match that edginess” vibe. I would not recommend these for those with hooded eyes though, because these will cover your entire eye. For the girls blessed with lots of lid space and love a good long and thick lash, please lmk when you’re available to come pick up your lashes sweetie. 

PUMPKIN:

Why did I choose all the lashes that started with P?

This is one of my more recent try’s from FinerLash and tbh, when I first unboxed them I thought they were a lil short, but hold on cause that actually works in their favor. Sometimes you might want another everyday lash for when you’re not feeling passion fruity, so pumpkin is like her little sister. 

Pumpkin has a similar wispy look, but more subtle and natural than Passionfruit. I honestly think you might be able to get away with these being mistaken for your own lashes for real because it’s a good a length, and they’re spaced out like real lashes and have no clusters, like some of my other lashes. 

This is literally an everyday wispy lash, that actually is everyday, and fits a lot of face types. I would recommend these even to older ladies who don’t like too much going on with their lashes but they still want that mink look. This is for you mama.
